Client and Contact Information

Some weeks ago, Ballards LLP made the decision to close our offices and for our staff to continue to work remotely. As a firm, we are in a privileged position to be able to carry out our duties from any location and, thus, we remain in a state of ‘business as usual’ with all services continuing to operate as normal.

We have a strategy in place to return to working in our offices in a phased approach which, subject government advice, we hope will start to take place over the next few weeks.

In the meantime, please see below points regarding our current communication and operations.

If you would like to speak to any members of staff please call our usual number 01905 794 504. This line is redirected to a team of internal secretaries who will forward you to your desired contact. Alternatively, please feel free to call your contact on their mobile phones.

Emails are continuing to be read and responded to in real time. If a member of staff is away from work they will have an ‘out of office’ response on and a suggested alternative contact.

Mail is picked up from the office regularly throughout the week, read and responded to accordingly.

We are continuing to meet with clients and contacts albeit via video conference software. The firm has access to a number of platforms including Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom. If you would like to have a meeting with a member of staff, please contact them as usual to arrange. Our video conference software is simple and effective to use and all you need is an internet connection. We can provide you with verbal and written (emailed) step by step instructions as to how to join our video meetings (but it’s very straight forward!)

Dropping off information to our office (accounts/files)

Please phone the main line or email/phone your usual contact to arrange a time to drop off any hard copy information.

Office reopening

We will notify all clients and contacts prior to returning to our offices. Upon our return, the continued health and safety of our staff and our visitors will be our priority. We have already carried out risk assessments and the necessary precautions have been put in place including safe distance floor indicators, PPE where appropriate, hand sanitizer available throughout the buildings, clearly visible signs informing people of guidelines and more.

If you have any queries regarding any of the above or need assistance in any other matters please contact Steven Jones directly on 07828 198 918.
