We are delighted to announce that Tax Partner Liz Peters has recently been appointed to the board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) Tax Faculty.
The ICAEW is the global professional body for Chartered Accountants which provides qualifications, professional development, shares technical expertise, and sets the standard for the accountancy and finance profession worldwide. The Tax Faculty is part of the ICAEW which acts as a centre for excellence, an authoritative voice on taxation matters and responds to consultations on potential changes to tax policy and legislation. Liz’s role within the firm remains unchanged and this role is conducted outside of her working hours.
The ICAEW has over 189,500 members across 148 countries and was established in 1880. Members go through rigorous training and exams to become fully qualified Chartered Accountants and it is recognised as the leading professional membership organisation within the finance sector.
