Important Xero Package Changes Coming 12 September 2024

Key Points:
- Most standard package users will transition to the ‘Ignite’ package:
- Current price: £30 + VAT per month
- New price: £33 + VAT per month
- Add-on limitations:
- Expenses, payroll, and projects will have restricted options
- Businesses with multiple users for these features may need to upgrade to a higher package
- Starter package changes:
- Add-ons such as payroll will no longer be available for the starter package
- Potential cost implications:
- Some clients may face increases beyond the expected 10% rise
- Example: Clients using the Starter package with Xero payroll for 2 people will need to upgrade to the ‘Comprehensive’ package (£47/month, up from £20/month)
