Important Xero package changes coming 12 September 2024

Ballards would like to inform you about upcoming changes to Xero packages, which will take effect from 12 September 2024. Take a look to view the full details of the new Xero packages.

Key points:

1. Most standard package users will transition to the ‘Ignite’ package:
   • Current price: £30 + VAT per month
   • New price: £33 + VAT per month
2. Add-on limitations:
   • Expenses, payroll, and projects will have restricted options
   • Businesses with multiple users for these features may need to upgrade to a higher package
3. Starter package changes:
   • Add-ons such as payroll will no longer be available for the starter package
4. Potential cost implications:
   • Some clients may face increases beyond the expected 10% rise
   • Example: Clients using the Starter package with Xero payroll for 2 people will need to upgrade to the ‘Comprehensive’ package (£47/month, up from £20/month)
