Ballards welcomes new graduate intake

Developing ambitious graduates and strengthening our Midlands team for the future

We’re delighted to welcome our 2025 graduate intake, marking another step forward in our firm’s ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of accountants. Each year, the graduate programme brings together ambitious graduates ready to learn, grow, and contribute to the firm’s continued success.

James Syree, CEO at Ballards, commented:
“Each year, our graduates bring fresh ideas, curiosity, and enthusiasm to the firm. We’re proud to support their development and to see the energy and talent they add to our teams. Our continued focus on nurturing people from the start of their careers is central to Ballards’ long-term growth and success.”

This year’s graduates have joined teams across the firm, including Business Services, Audit, Corporate, and Tax, and will be working across Ballards’ offices in Droitwich, Worcester, and Birmingham. The expansion into Birmingham marks an exciting stage in the firm’s growth, creating new opportunities for both clients and team members.

Our Graduate Programme offers a structured three-year pathway for graduates to become professionally qualified Chartered Accountants. Throughout the programme, graduates gain hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries, helping them build the skills and confidence to deliver exceptional client service.

Lauren Townsend, Talent Acquisition Executive at Ballards, said:
“I’m really proud of how our graduate intake has grown over the past three years here at Ballards. This year’s 2025 intake is our biggest yet, and we’re so excited to welcome such a talented group as they begin their careers in accountancy. It’s a real privilege to support them at this stage of their journey, and I can’t wait to see how they grow and thrive with the firm.”

Ballards continues to focus on creating opportunities for professional growth and long-term career development within the firm.

Trish Capewell, HR Manager at Ballards, added:
“We are excited to be planning for our 2026 graduate intake and are currently attending graduate fairs to talk about our accountancy opportunities across our Tax, Corporate, Audit and Business Services teams. We are committed to growing the firm and developing our graduates into future leaders.”

As the new graduates begin their journey, Ballards looks forward to seeing them develop their skills, contribute to client success, and play an important role in the firm’s future.

We’re still accepting applications for our 2026 Graduate Intake, so if you (or someone you know) is interested in starting a career in accountancy, we’d love to hear from you.
