Key challenge

PSE is going through a period of growth and has supplemented their existing traditional print services with a number of new digitally advanced service offerings. PSE wanted an independent review to assess their current systems and processes to identify risks and efficiencies but also to advise of any wider opportunities that could be exploited to improve their service offerings.

Work completed

Ballards IT and Digital Transformation department were selected to conduct an IT and Digital Current State Assessment, providing an independent review of the IT system landscape, underlying IT infrastructure and key businesses processes and procedures.

The information gathered was analysed and compared to both best practice and also to similar businesses. Key risks and opportunities were identified along with a set of actionable prioritised recommendations and next steps, which were presented and walked through with PSE.

Results

The review and resulting report was very well received by PSE, and the real-world actionable recommendations are now being progressed.
